A Special Invitation for NC Pastors!

Dr. Mark Harris, preaching in front of a stain glass window.

Pastors across North Carolina are cordially invited to attend a free Culture Impact Tour event to learn more about how they and their congregation can fulfill Christ’s call to be “Salt” and “Light” in our culture. These regional events are not about creating “just one more thing” for pastors to do. In fact, they are designed to introduce pastors to proven methods for effectively establishing and then delegating the leadership of a vibrant Community Impact Team ministry within their church. If you are a pastor, please plan to attend one of these important events! If you are not a pastor, please forward this information to your pastor and encourage your pastor to attend!

At each of these events, pastors will hear from state and national leaders who are on the front lines of the battle for biblical values in the public arena, including:

  • Dr. Rick Scarborough, Vision America;
  • Dr. Kenyn Cureton, Watchmen on the Wall (a ministry of Family Research Council);
  • Dr. Mark Harris—Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Charlotte; and
  • Pastor Thomas Graham—Pastor Outreach Director, NC Family Action.

These events are free, but registration is required – simply go to: www.watchmenpastors.org/events (Breakfast or lunch and a wealth of valuable materials will be provided at each event):

  • December 3 – Life Community Church, Jamestown, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)
  • December 8 – Buncombe Baptist Association, Asheville, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)
  • December 10 – Sandy’s Cafe, Asheboro, NC (8:00am—9:30am)
  • December 10 – Temple Baptist Church, Fayetteville, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)
  • January 7 – West Chowan Baptist Association, Ahoskie, NC (8:30am—10:00am)
  • January 7 – Corinth Baptist Church, Elizabeth City, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)
  • January 14 – Union Hill Baptist Church, Clemmons, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)
  • January 21 – Beulaville Baptist Church, Beulaville, NC (11:30am—1:30pm)

America is in need of restoration from the effects of an all-out assault by liberal secularists who believe we need a “fundamental transformation.” They’ve made it clear that the Judeo-Christian values embodied in the Ten Commandments and our nation’s founding documents are no longer relevant or wanted. Their influence has severely weakened America’s foundations.

Most people recognize this and mourn the decline in all aspects of our culture, but what are we to do? The era in which we are living is desperate for strong, vocal, spiritual leadership. In response, pastors must lead, and this Culture Impact Tour is designed to help them do just that!

If you are a pastor, please register today to attend the Culture Impact Tour in your area!

“Ministers Together” Breakfast, December 3

In addition to the events above, on Thursday morning, December 3, our friends at the North Carolina Pastors Network (NCPN) are hosting their “Ministers Together” Breakfast, which is an annual opportunity for pastors and elected/appointed officials in North Carolina to gather for a great time of mutual encouragement, prayer, and powerful challenge!

The “Ministers Together” Breakfast will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at Abele’s Restaurant in Morganton, NC with featured guest speaker Pastor Rafael Cruz, father of Texas Senator Ted Cruz. Please contact NCPN Secretary Betty Cotton at ncpn2013@gmail.com if you plan to attend!
