Support the Elimination of “DEI” in North Carolina Public Schools!
SB 227 would prohibit public schools from engaging in “discriminatory practices” or providing instruction on “divisive concepts” such as the notion that one race or sex is inherently superior or inferior to another race or sex, or that an individual is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, solely by virtue of his or her race or sex.
Governor Stein vetoed this bill on July 3, 2025. Please urge your legislators to override the veto and pass SB 227.

The NC House has passed HB 83—Revise Laws Governing Minors that would further protect minors from being exposed to obscene and harmful content by enhancing penalties for those who violate the law. Urge your State Senate member to give this legislation a hearing in a timely manner!
Urge Your State Senator to Support HB 519—Parents’ Medical Bill of Rights
Please contact your State Senate Member and urge him or her to support HB 519—Parents’ Medical Bill of Rights, that would affirm the rights of parents to oversee the medical care of their children.
The Following Bills Have Been Enacted Into Law
HB 805—Prevent Sexual Exploitation of Women and Minors (and more)
HB 805 protects citizens from online sexual exploitation; defines “male” and “female” in state law based on biological sex; prohibits tax dollars from being used to fund the “gender transition” of prisoners; and reinforces parental rights in public education.
Governor Stein vetoed this bill on July 3, and the General Assembly overrode the veto on July 29, 2025.
HB 959—Various Education Changes
HB 959 directs local boards of education to adopt “internet safety policies” to protect children while at school; directs local boards of education to adopt “wireless communication policies” that prohibit students from using cell phones during instructional time at school; and directs that the standard course of study include instruction on the risks and harmful effects of social media on students.

SB 442—Parents Protection Act
SB 442 affirms a parent’s fundamental right to raise their child consistent with the child’s innate biological sex as male or female, and protects parents from charges of abuse or neglect for refusing to affirm a child’s gender dysphoria of gender confusion.
