The 2025 Legislative Session is starting to wind down, but there are still many important bills that are yet to receive final approval. Please take action TODAY and contact your state legislators and encourage them to support some of the most important bills still pending in the General Assembly!

 

Support Wholesome Content in North Carolina Public Schools! 

Please contact your State Senate Member and urge him or her to SUPPORT HB 636–Promoting Wholesome Content for Students, which will help protect students from vulgar and inappropriate content in North Carolina public schools!

 

Support Social Media Protections for Children Under 16! 

Please contact your State Senate Member and urge him or her to SUPPORT HB 301—Social Media Protections for Minors Under 16, which will help shield children under 16 from the harms of social media.

 

Urge State Lawmakers to Limit Cell Phone Use During Instructional Time in NC Public Schools!

Both the NC House and NC Senate have passed bills to limit the use of cell phones during instructional time at public schools. Urge your State House and Senate members to carry this legislation over the finish line!

Please contact your State House Member and urge him or her to Support SB 227—Eliminating “DEI” in Public Schools, which would help to remove “discriminatory practices” and “divisive concepts” from public schools and ensure a meaningful education based on academic excellence.

 

Urge State Senators to protect minors from obscene and harmful content!

The NC House has passed HB 83—Revise Laws Governing Minors would further protect minors from being exposed to obscene and harmful content by enhancing penalties for those who violate the law. Urge your State Senate members to give this legislation a hearing in a timely manner!
