January is an important month for those who value the lives of the unborn. Despite the fact that January 22 marks the 44th anniversary of the tragic U.S. Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade that forced the legalization of abortion in every state of the nation, pro-lifers choose to use the occasion to celebrate the lives of the unborn and to pay tribute to the more than 58-million unborn babies who have been taken by abortion in our country since 1973.
There are several events in the state and on a national level that will allow you to take a stand for the value of life. Pick one and do your best to participate in some way. Many provide opportunities to participate “virtually” via the Web.
