MAY 6, 2008 PRIMARY ELECTIONS:
In the May 6 Primary Elections, Tar Heel voters will decide which candidates
running for elected office in their registered political party will move on
to the November 4, General Election. In some races, there is both a Democrat
and Republican primary election, while in others, only the candidates of one
political party face primary opposition. Judicial races are nonpartisan. Races
with primary opposition can be identified in this website by underlined
active links.
In preparation for the Primary Elections, the North Carolina Family Policy
Council sent questionnaires to all candidates in districts/races with primary
opposition, and their responses are available on this website.
