California Law Attacks Parental Rights
This week on Family Policy Matters, NCFPC president Bill Brooks talks with Mat Staver, chairman and founder of Liberty Counsel, about a dangerous new California law that prohibits mental health professionals from engaging in any type of therapy that attempts to help reduce or eliminate same-sex attractions in minors who are struggling with sexual or gender confusion. Staver, who has filed a lawsuit challenging the law, explains how it threatens parental rights, as well as the free speech and religious freedom rights of Christian mental health professionals.
